Alright, for all my fellow Lupe Fiasco fans. JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THIS IS JUST A RUMOR, NO ONE KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON OTHER THAN LUPE FIASCO HIMSELF. So to all, I got some bad news and I got some good news. The bad news is that the album LupE.N.D. is no more. For those who follow the blog, y'all can remember when I talked about this album. Well, like I said, it's no more. But the good news is that he's still dropping an album this year. As said in his supposed blog. Cuz in one of his song he says his url which is, "lupethefiasco.blogspot.com" and this post was on another url, which made me think that this is fake. But then on the other blog it was posted and now I'm all confused. So just read and we'll see what happens.

"Due to circumstances beyond my control...the album roll out has changed radically...LUPE.N.D. has been postponed indefinitely!!!
As a matter of fact consider it cancelled until further notice!!!
Sorry Guys & Gals!!!!...the rumor mill and bitch ass cowards are going to have a field day with this one!!!...I'll just keep quiet about the actual reasoning so everybody can put their very special two cents in...

I was really looking for LupE.N.D. but if this is true. At least he's still dropping three albums within the next two years so I will still be a satisfied fan.haha And I'm also looking forward to Japanese Cartoon album as well.

Charles Hamilton....
Charles Hamilton is a rising young rapper and he's just hella dope. He was born in Cleveland and moved to Harlem. Check out these two videos. Better keep an eye on him. Straight fire.
The first video is Charles Hamilton's "November 10th." I love this song. I like how he used one of Sonic's song from the original video game. I'm not sure if this is his first video but it still dope.
The second video is his single "Brooklyn Girls." I love the song and the video came out very well. But I'm from California and I gotta disagree with him. Cuz there's nothing like a Cali Girl.haha
Enjoy.

Welcome Back...
I have a feeling when people read this post, the first thing they're going to say is "finally, Danny posted something new." Haha. I have a few readers that became upset that I didn't post anything during the break. But I'm finally on this and will give them their fix.haha
So this week I started school again. Back to being productive with my life. I say this because during the break I really didn't do much. Just stayed home most of the time and chill with the crew. But anyways, I feel like this quarter is going to be a fun one. The main reason is because I have a few friends in every class. So I can have some extra help and at the same time not be bored in class.
The classes I'm taking this quarter is Speech 1, Poli 1, and Math 10. All of my teachers seem cool, but Stats looks like its going to be a challenge. But I'm going to hang in there. The class that I know for a fact I am going to enjoy is Speech 1. The big reason is because I love to talk. And I got some of the coolest people in that class.haha
Well, I'm glad to be back at school and for a couple of my readers I promise that I won't leave y'all hanging for another month without a post.haha
Peace.

Taking some stuff off my chest...
I think it's funny how most people don't take me seriously. Its kind of my fault because I do play around a lot, but when I become serious, no one takes me seriously. There are a few people that do and notice when I am being very serious.
I hear it sometimes too, "that I can't take you seriously" or "I think its funny when you try to be deep." When I hear this it really irritates me. There has been instances when I tell people that I love being stuck in traffic, and all I hear is "what," and at the same be laughing. They ask me why and I tell them that at that time is where I really have a chance to listen to music and think about my life. Then they laugh again.
For those who don't laugh, they become interested and had asked me what I think about. I tell them that I think about my current position, any future goals, how I'm going to reach them, academic stuff, stuff I gotta do at home, or what bills I gotta pay, etc. And when they hear this most people become shocked and tell me that they can't see me being that type of person.
I felt that I had to post this because many people really don't take me seriously; and I need everyone to know that even though I like to play a lot and do say a lot of nonsense, I do get serious and when I do, I don't need people to make fun of me or laugh at me, thinking that I'm not being serious.

This Album Didn't Leave Me Heartbroken.haha
If you listen to hip hop then you know that one of the best current artists is Kanye West, whether you like it or not. Everytime he drops an album it helps solidify his place in hip hop history; and if you don't agree with me, then start your own blog and be a hater (haha). And with an album like this, that pushes the envelope, it helps expand hip hop's horizon, if you hear this album you will find out what I mean.Today I ended up buying Kanye West's new album, 808s and Heartbreak. Now I'm not gonna lie, at first I was skeptical about this album because he was using the voice changing machine and he did do a lot of singing. But since I am a huge Kanye fan, I said fuck it and bought it today.
I listened to the whole album twice and I want to let everyone know that this album is hella dope. The tracks I enjoyed the most were, "Heartless, Amazing, Love Lockdown, Street Lights, Bad News, See You in My Nightmares, and Coldest Winter." I don't really want to say much because I want everybody to listen to these tracks.
Kanye never stops amazing, this guy is so talented and he just makes hits. I hope that his next album he doesn't use the machine a lot but if he does then I won't be mad cuz this album made it clear that he's one of the few that can make this work, other than T-Pain and Lil Wayne. So go cop, Im out.

Two Solid Efforts

So yesterday I ended up buying two albums. One of them was one of the albums I previously listed on a blog, which was Q-Tip's album the Renessaince.
Now let me tell you something about this album, this album is hella dope. The best thing about this album was that once you buy it you get a free vynil record, which was a plus. But seriously, this album is so laidback and Q-Tip went back to his way of rapping. The single I love from this album is "Gettin Up," this single is so chill and I just love this album overall. The best thing that these rappers are doing now is having a smaller track list, where quality is much better than quantity. Big props to Q-Tip for going back to the lab and doing what he does best.
The next album I bough was 88Keys, The Death of Adam. At first I was really skeptical on buying this album because I haven't really heard much about this artist. But since I saw it there I was like fuck it just cop it, so I did, and I don't regret it.
Overall, this album is a very solid effort. I don't have much to say about this album, I could only say that this album is very original and in my opinion a little funny. Just going by the name of some of the songs, "Morning Wood, Stay Up (Viagra), and Ho' is Short for Honey," these titles just caught my attention and I just had to buy it because it just caught my attention.
Buying these two albums made my week, because nothing really happened. There are still a couple albums I need to get. I was very dissapointed that the Rasputins in Berekely didn't have some of the albums I was searching for. So for me the search continues, because I really need to get the new Alchemist album.haha

Always Number #1
(I didn't put any picture up or video because I am blogging from my sidekick because my computer is fucking broken.)
So today I attended a class with the first year students. It was their English class and they were discussing about Tupac. When I first heard this I was like, "What the fuck! Why didn't I get a chance to talk about Tupac let alone write an essay about him." So this is what I would've wrote on him if I was in this class.
Tupac is my favorite rapper ever. What I like about Tupac is that he has so many different personalities. Many people say that he just raps about killing people or about money or fucking bitches. Now I ain't going to front and say that he didn't because he has rapped using those types of lyrics. But that wasn't the only thing he rapped about.
Perfect example would be the song "Changes," this song is really deep and touches a lot of subjects. Just this song talks about economic difficulties, racism, stereotypes, inner oppression, etc. One of my favorite lines in that song is, " I wake up in the morning and I ask myself/ is life worth living or should I blast myself," these two lines are so good that you can interpret them in so many ways.
Another song that shows a different side of Tupac is," So Many Tears." In this song you see a man who has gone through so many things. Also this song shows an emotional side of Tupac that many people don't notice. My favorite part of this song is where he raps, " Lord knows I... tried, been a witness to homicide/Seen drive-by's takin lives, little kids die/Wonder why as I walk by/Broken-hearted as I glance at the chalk line, gettin high/ This ain't the life for me, I wanna change/ But ain't no future right for me/I'm stuck in the game/ I'm trapped inside a maze." Just looking at these words you can see that Tupac wasn't into just rapping about money and girls.
I can give you so many examples on how Tupac was a very talented rapper and how he was a positive influence in so many other people. I feel like that other people don't really know what they are talking about when they diss Tupac in such a way. To me its like read the facts and do your research because he isn't the person where they showed him as just a criminal.
Alright, I'm done now. Just wanted give my thought out on this matter. Peace.

So Cheap, It's hard to believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I was surfing the internet earlier today and I found out what may be one of the best news I heard all week. Common today announced that when his album, Universal Mind Control, releases on December 9th, he would sell his album only for 99 cents that day. This is one of the albums I'm very excited for and really anticipating. What I like about this album is that I've been reading that Common is stepping outside of his usual hip hop concepts and will be rapping in various styles. He steps out of his comfort zone for a little bit and so far what I've been hearing has been very good.
So like I had said before, everybody who's reading this should go cop this album especially because it's going to be sold only for 99 cents when it first releases.
