So....

Here we go again...

The year 2009 is coming to a close and many things are about to be changing. Most importantly I feel like I'm changing a lot as well. I have become a little more mature, well sometimes it doesnt show but I feel that it would be boring if my childish side doesnt come out once in a while, but anyways getting carried away here.

I have many goals for the year 2010...I want to start leaving a mark and start making history. Me and a group of close friends are ready to make things happen. We've been cooking some things up that I'm real excited for. It isnt going to be an easy road but its one that I know we are all dedicated to take. I also got some crazy ideas for this project im going to start on..its been one of my dreams to do and im not going to let anyone hold me back. I cant say yet what im working on but when it starts its going to be a movement that wont be stopped. But I'll keep you guys updated on that as time passes...

But yes, 2010 feels like the time for a change. Hopefully, by the end of this school year I will be transferring out of De Anza College and hopefully into Sac State or SFSU. Im still not sure where I really want to go to but SFSU may be the best choice but we'll see on that.

Lastly, I just want to thank all of my friends that has been with me through the good and the bad this year. If it wasnt for y'all I dont know what I wouldve done. Y'all know what I'm talking about, you guys helped me while my family and I was struggling and I know I can count on y'all whenever and you can count on me anytime as well.

Theres some other stuff I want to talk about but I'll just post it later. But just to remind everybody...THE YEAR 2010 WILL BE THE YEAR WHERE I WILL ACHIEVE ALL MY GOALS!!!!

That night was hella dope..got to chill with one of my favorite artists. Me and my friend Juan headed to Walnut Creek to a meet with Clyde Carson at a Sweet Sixteen where he was hired to perform. My boy Juan knows his manager who is trying to sell beats and his manager really liked them. So he hit us up and invited us to come through. We chilled in one of the back rooms and Clyde was hella chill. One of the best moments I experienced. No homo..haha

Catching Up...

It has been a while since i actually blogged on this thing. So im going to bring everyone up to speed with whats going on in my life...

Life:

Things could be better right now. I really don't like to complain cuz you know shit happens, but my life sucks right now. My dad is still unemployed, my car needs a lot of work, and a couple things are happening in my family. Lately I've been arguing with my parents and brother, there was a moment where we almost got into a fist fight. So things at home are a little rocky. Which explains the reason why most of the time im broke since i've been helping out with the bills, because we were behind on rent and a couple of other bills. We're still a little behind but better off than before. Also, my little sister aka my cousin Irene went through something really sad. Early last week I found out that her boyfriend died in a car accident and it really affected her. This past Friday I went to a small town by Sacramento to attend his funeral. I went to support her because I treat her like a sister since I don't have one. So she knows that she can count on me whenever.

School:

School isn't that hot either. I started the quarter with 5 classes and I ended up with 1, which I may not pass. And with the things that are going at home I sometimes think about dropping out of school and work until everything at home gets better. But I know if I do that it will be hard to go back to school so that's the only thing thats keeping me from actually going through with it. We'll see how it goes.

Girls:

The only reason why I put this up here is beause not too long ago my mom and I had a funny talk. She asked me why i haven't had a girlfriend yet. This was hilarious but I didn't say anything cuz it felt a little weird.lol It's not that I don't want a girlfriend cuz I wouldnt mind having someone, the reason why is because I dont know how to approach a girl. I do have a crush on someone but I wouldn't know what to say. When it comes to this I get shy and scared.lol One problem that I do have is expressing the way I feel. My Ex-Girlfriend can co-sign that but I dont know where she's been after we graduated.lol It's funny because every relationship I had it was the girl who asked me if I wanted to get with her (I know..a little pathetic). In a way I rather have them aske me. The Clipse couldnt have said it better "Women if you like me please let me know." So if you like me and got something to say just let me know.lol I guess Im afraid of getting rejected..

Up Close and Personal: Joe Budden

For those who didn't know, Joe Budden has clashed with Method Man and Busta Rhymes. This all started 2 months ago when Vibe Magazine released a tournament style bracket of rappers. Joe Budden was upset that he was ranked so low (I agree with him, he should've been ranked better) and he lashed out and said he can beat at least half of the rappers on the bracket. While saying this, he threw out some names and Method Man was one of them. And for recent weeks there's just been a lot of talk back and forth.

This video will explain more of from where Joe Budden is coming from when he decided to say that. Watching this video Joe Budden is making a lot of sense. I like both Joe and Meth a lot, I wouldn't mind seeing a freestyle battle between them. This video is really intense.

I don't really pray that much. The only time I do is when I really have to speak to the Guy up there. But at the same time I wonder why I do it. I believe in God don't get me wrong. But when I "talk" to him I want him to answer back. Not too long ago I spoke with my uncle, who is a Christian preacher, and he always tells me that whatever I need help with he'll give me an answer sooner or later. But what if I need an answer now, what if the answer I was looking for comes too late. I don't know the real reason for this post, there are a lot of things going on right now and I'm just looking for some answers. I'm hella stressed and everything irritates me right now.....

This is a good story...

Yesterday or two days ago a baseball player from the Washington Nationals, his name Elijah Dukes, was fined and threatened to get demoted to the minor leagues just because he was 5 minutes late to his baseball game. JUST 5 MINUTES! That's not the worst part, the reason why he was late was because he was at a charity event for a little league team that the Nationals sponsors. That is really lame.

What makes this a good story was that the parents of the little league team were outraged and raised enough money to pay his fine. Now that is just one of the best things I heard in the sports world this week. These parents are cool. Just felt like I had to post this.

New Logo, Fresh Start???

Today the Detroit Lions debuted their new team logo. The difference? The Lion has teeth now. I don't think this is gonna change that they went 0-16 last season. The only good thing I see about that is that they can't get any worse. So maybe this logo will give them a fresh start. But, then again, they are the Detroit Lions.

Today while waiting for my mom in downtown san jose, I started thinking about all the current things that is going on in my life. First thing that came to mind was school. Lately I've been feeling that I shouldn't be going to school at this moment. I keep thinking that I should be helping out around the house because my parents have been in financial woes for sometime now and it seems like nothing is improving. And with my dad getting laid off in 2 weeks, things are about to get worse. Im not even thinking about copping the Yeezy's right now. Shit is getting hella fucked up.

Its like everyday I see my dad he's getting a little more depressed which makes me depress and makes me want to get a second job. And it seems like school is just getting in the way. And this also led me to thinking that I feel that my life is going nowhere. I know that going to college is building the foundation of my life/career, but at the same time I feel like im waisting time and everything seems like its in a standstill. But I feel like this mostly because like I said before my parents need help.

But at the same time going to school helps me be distracted, so I don't know. Its been helping me keep my mind busy and staying away from my house. Im at a point where im trying to find any way to go out. At this moment everything in my house is depressing. The only time I see myself having fun is just when im chillin with friends cuz nothing we do or talk about reminds me of what's going on. Which is sad because one thing I love to do is to chill with the fam.

Oh well, I really don't like to put my business out there but this kind of helps me feel a little bit better. So yeah im done.

The worst thing has happened today..... my i-pod died today. I am so depressed and sad right now that I want to cry (but not). Just thinking all the music that I lost. AHHHH!!! And I can't buy it this month because I have to pay my speeding ticket. Hella lame!

So this month the first Air Yeezy shoe went on sale. They went on sale yesterday and now they are impossible to get. You can try Ebay but they're going for double or triple the price. Good Luck. Here's a pic of the first colorway.

I was in line all night but I didn't get a pair. Not because they sold out, it was just bad timing, because I was broke. So yeah it made me mad but oh well. I was in line cuz I camped out with my boy DJ and he got his pair. Thats a good look. And thanks to Kate for telling us which store was the best chance in getting them.

But next month I am getting the 2nd colorway. Im not even goin to school so I can line up early in the morning the day before they come out. Im making sure I cop. Here's the pic for the next colorway

A Month To Go...

I was reading an article on the Oakland A's and I found out that they might try to move the team to San Jose. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! Anybody who knows me, knows I'm a huge A's fan and if they move to San Jose, they would save me a lot of gas money. On top is a picture of the proposed baseball stadium where the A's would play. Its only a couple blocks away from the HP Pavilion. Hopefully they do move.

A side note: baseball season is coming up. Who would be down to go to a few A's games with me this season. Let me know.haha

This shit is funny.....

Not a Chingo Bling fan, but this was hilarious.

So last night I saw the movie WATCHMEN. Overall, the movie was very well done. But if you had read the graphic novel before seeing the movie then you will notice a lot of parts missing. In my opinion some of which are really important because it explains more the meaning of the story.

But if you haven't read the story then you're in for a treat. The movie is really entertaining and all the fight scenes were done perfectly. There are some parts that it can get a little gory for some people and there is also a lot of blood.

I dont really want to talk much about it, because I dont want to end up giving some spoilers. So just go watch the movie, its really worth it.

Finally the waiting is over! The Nike Air Yeezy has been on my mind since we first saw them on Kanye West's feet last year, and we can finally know when they are about to be released. We know that this pair will be labeled as a Quickstrike release and are slated to his select accounts sometime this month.

They feature a zen grey / light charcoal colorway with the embroidered Yeezy logo on the heel tab. The strap also features a textured pattern which seems to be formed from the letter Y. They are stylish and should sell out quickly upon release.

I've been waiting for these shoes to finally be released. Kanye West has been toying with everybody by wearing different colorways at performances or at events. I've seen many colorways from these shoes and at least they're going to release one of them. Can't wait.

The Bruins were playing The Capitals and Alexander Semin just hit the puck from half court basically. This should be an easy block for a professional golie, but as we saw that Tim Thomas couldn't handle it. It's hella funny how he just walked off the ice hella fast after.

My Dreams are CRUSHED!!!!

I just found out that the girl of my dreams, Adriana Lima (Sexiest Victoria Secret Model), had recently gotten married to Memphis Grizzlies guard Marko Jaric, a basketball player, which is this guy:


What a bum. (I'm just hella jealous and mad right now.haha)

This is a crushing blow. I was waiting for Adriana to come to the Bay Area one day and I was going to propose to her. Well, now off to my next girl of my dreams. Its going to be a long difficult process. But I'll get through it.

A Life Lesson

I just read an article about two high school basketball teams and how they show great sportsmanship. The two high schools were DeKalb High School and Milwaukee Madison High School. Next is part of the article from Yahoo Sports:

"It was a Saturday night in February, and the Barbs were playing a non-conference game on the road against Milwaukee Madison. It was the third meeting between the two schools, who were developing a friendly rivalry that spanned two states. The teams planned to get together after the game and share some pizzas and soda. But the game itself almost never took place. Hours earlier, the mother of Milwaukee Madison senior captain Johntel Franklin died at a local hospital. Carlitha Franklin had been in remission after a five-year fight with cervical cancer, but she began to hemorrhage that morning while Johntel was taking his college ACT exam. Her son and several of his teammates were at the hospital late that afternoon when the decision was made to turn off the life-support system. Carlitha Franklin was just 39." (Yahoo Sports).

"Womack was going to cancel the game, but Franklin told him he wanted the team to play. And play they did, even though the game started late and Milwaukee Madison dressed only eight players. Early in the second quarter, Womack saw someone out of the corner of his eye. It was Franklin, who came there directly from the hospital to root his teammates on. The Knights had possession, so Womack called a time out. His players went over and hugged their grieving teammate. Fans came out of the stands to do the same. "We got back to playing the game and I asked if he wanted to come and sit on the bench," Womack said during a telephone interview."

"No," Franklin replied. "I want to play." There was just one problem. Since Franklin wasn't on the pre-game roster, putting him in meant drawing a technical foul that would give DeKalb two free throws. Though it was a tight game, Womack was willing to give up the two points. It was more important to help his senior guard and co-captain deal with his grief by playing. Over on the other bench, though, Rohlman wasn't so willing to take them. He told the referees to forget the technical and just let Franklin play. "I could hear them arguing for five to seven minutes, saying, `We're not taking it, we're not taking it," Womack said. "The refs told them, no, that's the rule. You have to take them."

"That's when Rohlman asked for volunteers, and McNeal's hand went up.
He went alone to the free throw line, dribbled the ball a couple of times, and looked at the rim. His first attempt went about two feet, bouncing a couple of times as it rolled toward the end line. The second barely left his hand."

"It didn't take long for the Milwaukee players to figure out what was going on. They stood and turned toward the DeKalb bench and started applauding the gesture of sportsmanship. Soon, so did everybody in the stands. "I did it for the guy who lost his mom," McNeal told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "It was the right thing to do."

When I finished reading this article it really hit me. Seeing that no matter what, sports is just sports and that outside the court or field, there's the real world. And the way they showed respect to Franklin was very touching. These are the types of news they should always show when it comes to sports. This article really touched me.

I've been highly anticipating this video for a while now. Since I first heard this song I've been patiently waiting for the video and album. Now we all get the video and now we wait for the album. It's going to be hella dope. I'm hoping that I get a chance sometime to go to a party like this.haha

Everybody who knows me, knows that I'm a huge hockey fan. Yes, believe it or not, I am a huge fan. And there hadn't been a jersey that I had really fallen in love with in this sport, until this year. The Pittsburgh Penguins debuted this jersey in this year's Winter Classic Game. I'm a huge Sharks fan but I think that I will buy this jersey before I buy any Shark jersey. I'm sorry, but this is just a dope jersey.

And just in case you didn't know, the Sharks are in first place in the Western Conference, and are having one of their best seasons ever.

On another note, did anyone hear about Michael Phelps smoking out of a bong. Well, if you didn't now you know. And you see the pic on top so there's visual proof (This was taken from an English magazine, News of the World). He has apologize saying that this was an "immature decision" and that people expect better from him. All I have to say is that no one is perfect. It doesn't hurt to mess up sometimes, you learn from that. So nobody should make a big deal of this in my opinion. Same thing happened to that actress from the movie Twilight and that blew over quick. I just gotta say is live life man and just keep training for the next Olympics.

A Triumphant Return.

Jennifer Hudson probably sang the best version of the U.S. National Anthem ever. Her performance was so moving, especially after the tragic event she had to endure not so long ago. I admire her for being strong and moving on even though that tragedy still probably hurts. I wish her good luck.

Dynasty???

This Super Bowl did live to its hype. Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers, I knew that they were gonna take it. Winning it for the second time in four years. It's a little too soon to call them a "Dynasty" but they can solidify it with another Super Bowl win in either the next two years. So good luck. But anyways, I did root for the Arizona Cardinals, I wanted them to win since they were the "Underdogs" but it didn't happen. The game was hella exciting and watching it with my cousins was hella fun. And good luck to the Cardinals cuz I don't think they'll make it next year, but like we saw this year, you never know.

Well another Super Bowl gone, and let the off season begin. Now we gotta wait 7 months for the next kick off. Now I'm just waiting for the draft and watch the other sports while I wait for next season. This means basketball, baseball, and hockey.haha

On a side note, hopefully the Raiders will win more than 5 games next year. I'm hoping for at most 6 games.haha

Also, I'm giving hella credit to Santonio Holmes (# 10, shown on top). Ever since he played in college everybody kept saying that he isn't reliable and that he isn't dependable. Well tonight he can rub it in the face to all those critics. Today he had the game of his life, SCORED THE WINNING TOUCHDOWN and ended up with MVP Honors. I believe that after this game, this guy is about to get off the rest of his career.

So to all, I got some bad news and I got some good news. The bad news is that the album LupE.N.D. is no more. For those who follow the blog, y'all can remember when I talked about this album. Well, like I said, it's no more. But the good news is that he's still dropping an album this year. As said in his supposed blog. Cuz in one of his song he says his url which is, "lupethefiasco.blogspot.com" and this post was on another url, which made me think that this is fake. But then on the other blog it was posted and now I'm all confused. So just read and we'll see what happens.

Welcome Back...

I have a feeling when people read this post, the first thing they're going to say is "finally, Danny posted something new." Haha. I have a few readers that became upset that I didn't post anything during the break. But I'm finally on this and will give them their fix.haha

So this week I started school again. Back to being productive with my life. I say this because during the break I really didn't do much. Just stayed home most of the time and chill with the crew. But anyways, I feel like this quarter is going to be a fun one. The main reason is because I have a few friends in every class. So I can have some extra help and at the same time not be bored in class.

The classes I'm taking this quarter is Speech 1, Poli 1, and Math 10. All of my teachers seem cool, but Stats looks like its going to be a challenge. But I'm going to hang in there. The class that I know for a fact I am going to enjoy is Speech 1. The big reason is because I love to talk. And I got some of the coolest people in that class.haha

Well, I'm glad to be back at school and for a couple of my readers I promise that I won't leave y'all hanging for another month without a post.haha
